Philosophy is in itself an art form, one that is expressive of life. The greats, Epictetus, Aristotle, Marcus Aurelius, Plato, Socrates and Zeno have inspired this collection of works. Through a collection of different philosophical thoughts and ideologies one can try to navigate the desperate beauty and unbearable pain of life. This particular piece is of Epictetus, by capturing half of his bust one is left to make up the rest, as one does with ideas and thoughts. By using black pen on Aquarelle watercolour paper there is an unfinished quality within the texture. Thus, reflecting the rest of our journeys which have not yet happened.
